SKINLAB Frontman Seeking Bassist For New Project

DEF IGNITION, the San Francisco Bay Area-based band led by SKINLAB's Steev Esquivel, are currently seeking a bassist. Applicants should be based in the "Bay Area or surrounding areas," says Steev, who is playing guitar in the new group. "Unknown [musicians are] preferred." Interested partied should write to: [email protected]

DEF IGNITION's current lineup is rounded out by drummer Mark Hernandez (ex-TECHNOCRACY, TORQUE) and vocalist/guitarist Dave Moore (ex-MINDBENDER). The band, who are presently unsigned, are "not trying to reinvent rock, but rather have a good time playing some semi-heavy/melodic music," according to Esquivel. More information will be made available soon.
