Ohio extreme metallers SKELETONWITCH and Los Angeles' WINDS OF PLAGUE will be the special guests on this weekend's (October 16-18) edition of Full Metal Jackie's nationally syndicated radio show. In addition, Jackie will premiere a new song from THROWDOWN.

"Breathing the Fire", the new album from SKELETONWITCH, was released today (Tuesday, October 13) via Prosthetic Records. The CD's cover artwork was designed by Andrei Bouzikov, who has previously worked with MUNICIPAL WASTE and many others.

SKELETONWITCH began recording "Breathing The Fire" on June 14 in Seattle at both Studio Litho (owned by PEARL JAM guitarist Stone Gossard) and producer Jack Endino's own Soundhouse Recording.

SKELETONWITCH has just completed a tour with CHILDREN OF BODOM and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER. The band will now head to Europe for a rotating co-headline run with TOXIC HOLOCAUST and GOATWHORE.

WINDS OF PLAGUE will embark on the "California Love Tour" in November with support from STICK TO YOUR GUNS, SLEEPING GIANT, OCEANO and CIRCLE OF CONTEMPT.

"The Great Stone War", the new album from WINDS OF PLAGUE, sold 6,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart.

WINDS OF PLAGUE album recently shot a video for the song "Approach The Podium" with up-and-coming director Nic Izzy of Reconstructed Media (DESPISED ICON, PROTEST THE HERO).

"The Great Stone War" was released on August 11 in the U.S. via Century Media Records.
