SKELETONWITCH: Recording Update

June 12, 2007

Cleveland-based thrashers SKELETONWITCH have issued the following update:

"Most shreddingly, we are in the studio recording our new record 'Beyond the Permafrost' at Karma Studios. Things are are moving along well and we're enjoying working with Cory Smoot (GWAR, MUNICIPAL WASTE). The record is scheduled to be released in mid-September. We also have posted new dates for our upcoming tour with WITHERED. You can view the dates on our MySpace page and also in the July and August issues of Decibel magazine. Our drummer, Mullet Chad, did the art for the ad in Decibel. Also, we are happy to announce that a version of 'Beyond the Permafrost' from the 'Worship the Witch' EP will be on the upcoming Sounds of the Underground Tour sampler CD. Fuck yeah!"

Currently recording with Cory Smoot for the bulk of June, SKELETONWITCH will hit the road with WITHERED in July, having just wrapped up a few weeks of touring with WEEDEATER. The band's debut full-length on Prosthetic Records will hit stores September 18.

After signing with Prosthetic in February, SKELETONWITCH has already played with the likes of GOATWHORE, NACHTMYSTIUM and WEEDEATER, among others, in addition to appearing at this spring's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.
