SIX FEET UNDER Frontman: 'We Are Having A F**cking Amazing Tour'

August 17, 2005

SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes has issued the following report from the group's current U.S. tour with CHIMAIRA:

"Hello from the road!! Just wanted to give all you SIX FEET UNDER fans an update... We're currently at the half way point on the Nothing Remains tour opening up for CHIMAIRA. Sitting here in Charlston, WV tonight... We are having a fucking amazing tour. Simply amazing... So far, the crowds have been insane on this. It's awesome. I mean, this, to me, will be a tour that I will remember for a long time, right up there with the DANZIG tour we did in 2000 and my second U.S. tour in 1992 with AGNOSTIC FRONT, OBITUARY, and MALEVOLENT CREATION, when I was in [CANNIBAL] CORPSE. The other opening bands on this one, ALL THAT REMAINS and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, are cool as fuck too, and are kicking major ass as well. there have been a few really stand-out shows, one of my favorites was in Bellefontaine, OH for Woodshock. It was a really cool gathering and I want to put my special thanks out to the promoter of the festival, Tim Buchenroth — you gave your blood for that fest, brother. Our condolences to you and your family. Every night has been a fucking brutal adventure shared with the company of newfound friends. CHIMAIRA — you guys are the best, and I am proud as fuck to be out on this motherfucker with you guys, you are true friends. This is the ultimate tour. If you're missing these dates, you're missing metal history."

As previously reported, Metal Blade Records has set an October 18 release date for the new SIX FEET UNDER box set, entitled "A Decade in the Grave". The 4-CD/1-DVD set is expected to include video footage of the band's March 16, 2005 concert in Berlin, Germany.

SIX FEET UNDER have just re-released their latest CD, "13", with a bonus copy of "Graveyard Classics 2" for one low price. The re-release is available in and the group's fans are also be able to buy this from the band while they are on tour.
