SINISTER Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

December 1, 2007

Dutch death metallers SINISTER have issued the following update:

"After 15 years of making records for Nuclear Blast Records, we have signed a new record deal with another label. Massacre Records will release our upcoming release, 'The Silent Howling', in the fall of 2008. The album (which will include seven tracks) will be recorded in May 2008 in the Soundlodge Studio, Germany. Some of the songtitles are: 'The Silent Howling', 'If It Bleeds...', 'The Kill To Come' and 'Fortified Bravery'.

"We are happy to be under the wings of Massacre Records and looking forward to work with them in the future.

"Meanwhile we have parted with our drummer Paul [Beltman] who wants to do other things in life. Paul will finish the shows that are planned. The search for a new drummer continues..."

SINISTER's current lineup includes Aad Kloosterwaard (vocals),Alex Paul (guitar) and Bas van den Bogaard (bass).

A preview clip of the first-ever live DVD from SINISTER, entitled "Prophecies Denied", is available below. Released this past January in North America via MVD Visual, the disc was shot with seven cameras on August 24, 2006 at the Stodola Club in Warsaw, Poland and was made available as a standard DVD and a DVD+CD limited-edition package. The DVD also includes an interview with the band's frontman Aad Kloosterwaard and guitarist Alex Paul as well as a documentary, "Angels of the Apocalypse", plus rare footage.

SINISTER's latest CD, "Afterburner", was released last year through Nuclear Blast Records.
