SINGLE BULLET THEORY: New Album Release Date Announced

September 7, 2007

Philadelphia-based metallers SINGLE BULLET THEORY will release its new album, "On Broken Wings", on October 9 via Crash Music Inc. The CD was recorded at SINGLE BULLET THEORY's own studio with help from Carlos Alverez (SHADOWDANCE) and was mixed by Eddy Garcia (PISSING RAZORS) at Krank Studios in El Paso, Texas. Mastering duties were handled by James Murphy (TESTAMENT, DEATH, OBITUARY) at SafeHouse Productions in Tampa, Florida. The record features 11 brand new studio tracks as well as five live tracks recorded in August 2006 in New London, Connecticut.

SINGLE BULLET THEORY film a video for the track "My Own Worst Enemy" in early October with director Frankie Nasso (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, LUPARA). The clip will be serviced to MTV2 as well as Fuse.

According to a press release, "On Broken Wings" showcases the band's ability to capture raw, explosive riffing mixed with subtly placed clean passages and incredibly dynamic vocals. "We basically are wearing all of our influences on our sleeve with this one," says vocalist/guitarist Matt Difabio. "Fans of CORONER, KREATOR, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM or PANTERA can find something to sink their teeth into on this disc."

SINGLE BULLET THEORY will hit the road mid-October as part of the Metal Crusade tour also featuring PRIMER 55, Marc Rizzo (SOULFLY) and LOVE SAID NO (featuring former members of STUCK MOJO and STEREOMUD).
