SIN DEALER: New Album Recordings Postponed

December 14, 2006

SIN DEALER, the band featuring members of SEA OF GREEN, SONS OF OTIS, EDWIN and PLASMA BLAST, was unable to enter the studio earlier this month, as originally scheduled. However, they are confirmed to enter Escarpment Sound on January 12 to record their much-anticipated follow-up to 2004's "13". Gary Honess (I MOTHER EARTH, SEA OF GREEN, BURNING THE DAY) will be engineering the CD once again and the band will handle production. Frontman Eric Kuthe says, "We've all been in bands for well over 15 years and have recorded over 50 CDs between the four of us so we pretty much know how we want things to sound at this point."

"The new songs are a lot heavier then our last CD and that feels like a natural step in the evolution of our music," he adds. "We wanted to push our sound into new places and I think people are going hear the difference. At the end of the day we just wanted to write some killer metal songs that the four of us love to play and we definitely accomplished that and more."
