SILENCER Prepares To Record New Album

September 28, 2006

Colorado metallers SILENCER have issued the following update:

"We've been hard at work on the new [album] for the last several months, and we are now tweaking final arrangements in rigorous rehearsal. We're scheduled to start tracking drums in three short weeks, so excitement is high within the camp. Lyrics are coming along really well too, some interesting stuff we're gonna explore. Overall this album is shaping up to be a bit more diverse, a bit more more dense and plenty freakin' heavy. We have twelve tracks slated, from balls out thrashers to longer (for us) and more ambitious tracks. It is definitely the next step from 'Death of Awe', building on the best parts of that record and adding new approaches on top of it. We can't wait to hear how massive this sounds when finally laid down. We're gonna try and take lots of pictures during the tracking as best we can and keep you all updated on the progress. When this beast is done we're gonna gig a hell of a lot more too, so get ready."

SILENCER's latest album, "Death of Awe", is available in the U.S. through The End Records distribution and mail-order. The CD was released in Europe through Mausoleum Records.
