SILENCER Cancels Tour

October 31, 2002

Colorado's SILENCER, now featuring in their ranks guitarist Ritchie Wilkison (ANGEL DUST, DEMONS & WIZARDS),has cancelled its southwest "Structures" tour which was slated to start Sunday, Nov. 3 in New Mexico.

"Very recent unforeseeable circumstances that have arisen prevent us from getting on the road this November," reads a statement on the group's official web site. "We apologize sincerely to all the fans, booking agents, venues and everyone else who helped us arrange the five state tour. All we can say is we will be back, don't forget about us. As soon as the opportunity arises again, we will be back in the van to deliver 120dB of customized hearing damage to your doorstep. In the meantime, to get a taste of what you will be receiving, don't forget to order our new 'Structures' EP. The Saturday 11/2 show in Denver will still go on as planned. We thank everyone for their hard work to date for promoting and arranging this massive metal undertaking. We look forward to seeing you there Saturday night. In case you forgot, doors are at 6:30PM with EMBER beginning the night at 7:30PM, followed by ESOVAE, THROCULT, our set and then headliners CORRUPTION. It is an 18 and up show, and admission is $7 at the door. Our new EP will be for sale at the show for $5."
