SICK OF IT ALL Drummer Comments On Upcoming Tribute Album

SICK OF IT ALL drummer Armand Majidi has commented on the group's upcoming tribute abum, "Our Impact Will Be Felt", due on January 23, 2007 through Abacus Recordings.

Said Majidi: "As we've been touring and gearing up for the next European tour, the folks at Abacus have been at work compiling tracks for a tribute album in honor of our 20th year anniversary.

"The name of the album is 'Our Impact Will Be Felt', and its release date is scheduled for January 23rd, 2007. It will feature SICK OF IT ALL covers by our friends in RISE AGAINST, HATEBREED, UNEARTH, BLEEDING THROUGH, BOUNCING SOULS, PENNYWISE and SEPULTURA, to name a few.

"All these musicians have given us a gift that we appreciate so much — respect — which is something that the music industry hasn't exactly showered us with! They are either peers, or fans that eventually formed their own popular bands that will leave their own impact on the world. It's great to listen to these guys tear through our songs and re-work them with their own sounds — this record will be a real treat for SICK OF IT ALL fans and fans of hard music everywhere."

As one of the longest standing bands still proudly waving the flag of New York hardcore, SICK OF IT ALL have made their mark as one of the cornerstones of hard music, proving that heart, hard work and dedication to hardcore is about more than just the music and an image, it's a way of life. Since their inception in 1986; SICK OF IT ALL have released nine full-length albums, toured the world countless times, have been hailed in such publications as Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Alternative Press, Penthouse, Revolver, Guitar World and more and can currently be seen on Fuse and MTV's "Headbanger's Ball". Still exhibiting as much energy as the day they started, SICK OF IT ALL are not slowing down in the least with their latest release "Death To Tyrants" soaring the charts and their energetic live show engaging thousands across the globe.
