SHE SAID DESTROY Complete Work On Debut Album

Guitarist Anders "Ugmod" Bakke of the Norwegian extreme metal thrashers SHE SAID DESTROY has posted the following message on the group's web site:

"Our [debut] record is finally finished. We were in Stockholm and mastered it at Peter In de Betou's Tailor Maid studio this week. This guy has worked with MESHUGGAH, NASUM, DARK FUNERAL and more, and he had gold and platinum TRAZAN & BANARNE records hanging on his wall. Legend. Now we're just waiting for the artwork to be finished, courtesy of Trine & Kim. Can't wait to see what they've come up with. Be sure to check out their earlier work on this website: www.trineogkim.no. We'll get back to you with a tentative release date soon.

"Don't forget that we’re playing in Tønsberg at Rivals Pub with labelmates MINDGRINDER on Dec 16. This evening will kick off the Hammerslag Festival that takes place on Dec 17. It might be that we get to play a show outside of Norway in late December, but since it hasn’t been confirmed yet I'll have to hold back the announcement.

"Just went to see [the Canadian heavy metal documentary] 'Metal: A Headbanger's Journey' yesterday. It was a real cool documentary and I recommend that you all go see it or buy it when it comes out on DVD (I believe DVD will have shitloads of extras). Finally a documentary that touches upon most things metal in 1.5 hours in a reflective manner.

"After the screening I had a chat with Sam Dunn and Scott McFadyen who've made the movie. Nice dudes. Check out their website for info on where you can see the film: www.metalhistory.com."

SHE SAID DESTROY's debut album, "Time like Vines", will be released in early 2006 via Nocturnal Art Productions in collaboration with Candlelight Records. The group, who have been an active live unit and have made many impressive live appearances, made strong impressions on fans and media alike with their latest demo, "Armageddon Anyone?"Metal Hammer Germany declared it demo of the month, and Metal Hammer U.K. gave it 8 out of 10 points, stating, "This is heavy fucking metal, not Paris Fashion Week!"
