SHAITAN MAZAR Officially Announce Split

June 13, 2005

As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported on May 19, SHAITAN MAZAR — the band featuring former NILE members Chief Spires (bass, vocals) and John Ehlers (guitar) — have now officially confirmed their split. A posting on the band's official web site reads as follows:

"Due to some internal issues in the band SHAITAN MAZAR have officially called it quits. SHAITAN MAZAR would like to say thanks everyone who supported us over the past two years.

"We would like to wish Chief, Jake [Axelson, drums] and Robert [Dirr, guitar] well with their new band NOXIOUS, and Jason [Hohenstein, vocals] with LECHEROUS NOCTURNE.

"You can still order your copy of 'Catalyst of Amalgamation' from the site. This site will stay up for a few more weeks."
