March 6, 2005

Music Video Distributors and AMP Magazine have announced the home viewing release of "AMP Magazine: Video Archive for the Ages – Vol 1" for worldwide distribution on DVD.

After creating one of the most recognized and respected names in the alternative/punk world over the first couple years of its existence with its magazines and CD series, AMP Magazine is turning its attention to a new format. This is the first in a line of DVDs that aim to archive music videos for the biggest, best, and most influential bands of late in the punk, indie, and metal worlds. The artists on this inaugural volume have collectively sold well over a million records, and are at the forefront of their genres. With the combination of star power, the promotion AMP puts into its releases, and the unbeatable retail price, this should be a fan favorite.
