SEVENDUST Finishing Up Final Tracks For New CD

June 5, 2003

According to SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose's official web site, "Morgan and the band are finishing up the final tracks on the new SEVENDUST record! It's been a long few months and the band will finally be able to take a short break in mid-June. No word on who's mixing yet but expect a release possibly in late September. The rumored acoustic tour is now in the planning stages, more on that later. This is going to be a long album cycle for the band, taking them on their first 1st 'world tour.' Having toured mainly in the U.S., the demand has gotten too big to avoid the rest of the world. As of June 16th, 2003, all of the recording for the new record will be finished and you can expect to find Morgan either at the golf course, at the ballpark, or at home with his family."

As previously reported, SEVENDUST are recording the new album at Atlanta's Ruby Red Studios with producer Butch Walker. Walker, who fronted the band MARVELOUS 3 and released a solo album entitled "Left Of Self-Centered", has made a name for himself as a producer for such bands as INJECTED and SR-71.

Among the tracks set to appear on SEVENDUST's as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2001's "Animosity" are "Disgrace", "Seasons", "Honesty", "Skeleton Song" and "Enemy (Pez)".
