SEPULTURA: New Album To Surface In Early 2006

July 4, 2005

SPV Records has pushed back the projected release date of the new SEPULTURA album to early 2006.

As previously reported, SEPULTURA's upcoming CD will be based on the "The Divine Comedy", widely considered the greatest epic poem of Italian literature, and one of the greatest of world literature.

SEPULTURA's last album, "Roorback", was issued in North America in August 2003 via SPV Records. The follow-up to 2001's "Nation" was recorded and mixed by producer Steve Evetts (SNAPCASE, EARTH CRISIS) at Mosh Studios in São Paulo, Brazil, and was released in Europe in May 2003 through SPV.

SEPULTURA drummer Igor Cavalera will be collaborating with hardcore Brooklyn rapper NECRO on a track for NECRO's upcoming release, "Circle of Tyrants".
