As first reported here back in early July, SEPULTURA have now officially signed a European record deal with SPV/Steamhammer Records. The group's first release for the label will be an EP of cover songs, titled "Revolusongs", due before the end of the year. "SPV is excited about their latest signing, and welcomes SEPULTURA to the family," states an official press release.

In addition to their European deal with SPV, SEPULTURA have signed with JVC Records in Japan and FNM/Universal Records in Brazil, both of which will issue "Revolusongs" in their respective territories. A North American deal has yet to be announced.

SEPULTURA are currently working on the material for their next full-length effort, which they expect to begin recording later in the year for a spring/summer 2003 release.
