SEPULTURA Frontman's MUSICA DIABLO: European Tour Postponed

July 13, 2009

MUSICA DIABLO — the São Paulo, Brazil-based thrash metal project featuring SEPULTURA singer Derrick Green, guitarist Andre NM (NITROMINDS),drummer Marcão (AÇÃO DIRETA, DEAD FISH) and bassist Ricardo Brigas — has postponed its European tour to early 2010 from the previously announced October 2009. The band's manager, Tommy Morriello of Crash Bang Booking & Management, states, "MUSICA DIABLO will be postponing their European tour by a couple of months due to some strategic reasons. The first and main issue is the time, since Derrick is on tour promoting 'A-lex' with SEPULTURA and André will spend the whole October in Europe promoting NITROMINDS' [latest] release ('Verge of Collapse'). Besides that, the negotiations with record labels [are] delayed to such a point that it turned out impossible to make the tour at this moment without a specific release date. After a meeting between the management the booking and Derrick in Duisburg [Germany] at the Devilside Festival, all parts came to the conclusion that the tour should be moved to early 2010. The good news is that in September new songs (unreleased material) will be able to be streamed at [MUSICA DIABLO's] MySpace profile."

MUSICA DIABLO recently posted behind-the-scenes footage from its first photo session, which took place in May in São Paulo. The session was held at the CBB bar and was overseen by photographer Charline Messa, who has previously taken studio pictures of such acts as THE CULT, JOHN LORD, SEPULTURA, DEFTONES and the MISFITS.

MUSICA DIABLO's European tour will be booked by the Go Down Believing agency, which also handles such artists as PRO-PAIN, HATESPHERE, ILLDISPOSED etc.
