SEBASTIAN BACH To Sing National Anthem At Indiana's PARTI GRAS

March 26, 2006

Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach will be singing the national anthem during this year's Parti Gras at Hoosier Park in Anderson, Indiana on May 27. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and Bach will sing at 6:15 p.m. He will also be holding an autograph session between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Bach has been hard at work on his forthcoming solo album, which Spitfire Records plans to release in July. According to a post on Bach's web site, he's got 13 songs written so far and summer and fall tours are in the works. Sebastian is also involved with DAMNOCRACY, the new band featuring Sebastian on vocals, Evan Seinfeld (BIOHAZARD; bass),Scott Ian (ANTHRAX; guitar),Ted Nugent (guitar),and Jason Bonham (BONHAM, UFO, FOREIGNER; drums). The DAMNOCRACY bandmembers spent 12 days in Vegas shooting a new VH1 reality TV show, titled "SuperGroup". Filming for the program commenced on February 22, with the premise being to lock several musicians in a house for 10 days and get them to write and record some new original music. In addition to the five musicians, star manager Doc McGhee (KISS) was in charge and was also living in the house for the duration of filming/recording. The all-star band also performed a headlining set at the Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas on March 5.

VH1's "SuperGroup" is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, May 18 at 10:00 p.m.

Regarding the DAMNOCRACY band name, Bach wrote on his web site, "For the record, the pronounciation of the name is DAMNocracy - the 'n' is silent - like it's a 'GodDAMNocracy' with the emphasis on DAMN."
