SCENES Complete Work On Debut Album

October 28, 2004

German prog-metallers SCENES, now featuring Alex Koch (ex-SPIRAL TOWER, POWERGOD) on vocals, have completed work on their full-length debut.

The album was recorded at Sub Zero studio in Backnang and was mixed and mastered in September by Tommy Newton (HELLOWEEN, CONCEPTION, ARK, UFO) at his Area 51 Studio.

"Dirk Thurisch (ANGEL DUST, MERCURY TIDE) as well as Markus Juergens (ex-BRAINSTORM, PUMP) energetically supported Alex (vox) with backing vocals on the most intense song of the new album, 'I Will Stay'," the band write on their web site. "At this point we would like to thank both of them once again. It was a great pleasure for us to see Dirk, Marcus and Alex singing in studio. As previously stated, [previous singer] Nektarios will also be heard."

The track listing for the album is as follows:

01. So-Father
02. You Walk Away
03. My Own Life
04. Start Again
05. Deep Inside My Heart
06. I Will Stay
07. The Light
08. Such A Shame
09. Nothing Left To Say (Unforgiven)

Upcoming SCENES shows:

Nov. 06 – Leonberg, GER – Bassbox
Nov. 09 – Ludwigsburg, GER – Rockfabrik Club 2
