SCELERATA To Record New Album At BLIND GUARDIAN's Studio

April 1, 2011

Brazilian metallers SCELERATA are working on material for their third album, to be recorded in Brazil and Germany. The CD will be produced by Charlie Bauerfeind (HELLOWEEN, BLIND GUARDIAN, RAGE, SAXON, HALFORD, HAMMERFALL, MOTÖRHEAD),continuing the partnership that started in 2007 when he worked on SCELERATA's second album, "Skeletons Domination".

Commented SCELERATA drummer Francis Cassol: "It will be our second [collaboration] with Charlie, whom we worked with on 'Skeletons Domination', but the first time that he [will be involved with the project] since the beginning of the recordings. He had the idea to produce and record the album, which we thought was great. We are discussing about the recording and new songs since the first half of 2010, and we are very excited to see it done."

The drum recordings for the new SCELERATA album will commence in May at BLIND GUARDIAN's Twilight Hall Studios in Germany. The CD should be completed by July.

SCELERATA will support KAMELOT on April 10 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
