SAWTHIS Signs With SCARLET RECORDS

April 25, 2010

Italian thrash-death metallers SAWTHIS (formerly SOTHIS) have inked a deal with Scarlet Records. The band's sophomore album, "Egod", will be released on May 17. The CD was recorded at Petemkin Studios with producer Paolo Ojetti (INFERNAL POETRY). 13 songs were written for the album and 10 of them were tracked for the final product. Daniele "Axo" Galassi from INFERNAL POETRY played a guest guitar solo on "Barabba", which is said to be "the most atypical song that SAWTHIS has ever written."

SAWTHIS will begin a tour in May supporting the legendary Polish band VADER in Eastern Europe.

SAWTHIS's debut album, "Fusion", was released in April 2006 via Italy's Temple Of Noise Records.
