SAVATAGE Guitarist To Embark On Solo Tour

February 25, 2005

SAVATAGE guitarist Chris Caffery has been very busy in the studio again. Last year marked the release of his solo debut "Faces". The CD contained an eight-song bonus CD called "God Damn War". Another seven songs will be added to this CD and it will be released separately in early summer on Black Lotus Records. The songs include the first-ever studio recording of a lost DOCTOR BUTCHER track called "Iraq Attack". The song features Jon Oliva and Chris on vocals as well as original DOCTOR BUTCHER bassist Brian Gregory. Along with the additional music, the CD will include the full "God Damn War" story and all of the lyrics.

Caffery's band, which includes the "Faces" studio lineup of SAVATAGE/TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA drummer Jeff Plate and TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA bassist Dave Z., is currently booking its first-ever world tour. The band will be headlining a U.S. tour called "It's All Good" featuring THE ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO and other TSO members' outside endeavors. April 28 marks the first date in New York City at the infamous B.B. King's Concert Club. European dates and additional U.S. shows will be announced shortly.
