SATYRICON Recruits BRUTUS Guitarist

Guitarist Schoft of the brutal Dutch death metal band BRUTUS has reportedly been tapped by Norwegian black metallers SATYRICON as the group's new touring guitarist. Schoft has already played three shows with the group in Mexico and is preparing to join them for the upcoming summer festival appearances.

Fan-filmed video footage of SATYRICON's June 8, 2007 concert in Mexico City has been posted at YouTube. The group's setlist was as follows:

SATYRICON's latest album, "Now, Diabolical", debuted at No. 2 on the national Norwegian chart and also charted in Sweden and Finland.
