SATURNUS: First Three Albums Re-Released

Denmark's melodic doom metal masters SATURNUS have issued the following update:

"Our former label, Euphonious Records/VME, will re-release the first three SATURNUS releases internationally on July 26. The releases have been sold out for a while, but will now be available again in new versions.

"The re-releases are out in Denmark already, and are available at most record stores, as well as online."

* "Paradise Belongs To You" (1996) 2CD comes in a digipack with all of the Roskilde Festival 1997 CD as a bonus disc
* "For The Loveless Lonely Nights" (1998) CD comes in digipack with two bonus tracks
* "Martyre" (2000) CD comes in a digipack with two bonus tracks

SATURNUS's current lineup still includes Thomas A.G. Nielsen (vocals),Brian Hansen (guitar) and Rune Stiassny (lead guitar). A new drummer and rhythm guitarist have yet to be announced.

SATURNUS's latest album, "Veronika Decides To Die", was released in 2006. The CD was produced by Flemming Rasmussen (METALLICA, ARTILLERY) and featured a guest appearance by MERCYFUL FATE guitar legend Michael Denner. The album was nominated in four categories ("Best Metal Album", "Best Metal Track", "Best Metal Production" and "Best Metal Artwork") at the 2006 Danish Metal Awards event.
