SATANIC SLAUGHTER Leader Passes Away

According to Tartarean Desire, Ztephan Dark — band leader and founder of the Swedish black metal act SATANIC SLAUGHTER — has sadly passed away due to a serious heart condition.

Ztephan Dark formed SATANIC SLAUGHTER in 1985, inspired by bands like VENOM, BATHORY, KREATOR, SODOM and DESTRUCTION, and despite numerous line-up problems and hardships he stayed true to his craft for two decades.

SATANIC SLAUGHTER released four full-length albums: "Satanic Slaughter" (Necropolis, 1995),"Land Of The Unholy Souls" (Necropolis, 1996),"Afterlife Kingdom" (Loud n' Proud, 1996) and "Banished To The Underworld" (Black Sun, 2000).
