SAMMY HAGAR To Open Cabo Wabo Cantina In Lake Tahoe

Former VAN HALEN frontman Sammy Hagar has announced plans to give his Cabo Wabo Cantina a second home on U.S. soil at Harveys in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

The Grand Opening party for the new location will be held Friday, April 30 - Sunday May 1. This weekend-long celebration will include great music, delicious food, skiing, snowboarding and more.

In true Sammy fashion, he will be celebrating his favorite holiday (besides his birthday) with a three-night rock 'n' roll, tequila-soaked bash. SAMMY AND THE WABORITAS (Vic Johnson, David Lauser and Mona) will be partying in the brand new Cabo Wabo Nightclub at Harrah's on Friday April 30, Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, with surprise appearances by special friends.

In addition, the Cantina will be offering up custom-made "Taho Wabo" apparel, Cabo Wabo (Taho Wabo) commemorative collectible chips and a few more goodies exclusive to the Tahoe location.

Harrah's and Harveys are already close to selling out, but will be offering special room promotions at other participating properties in the immediate area. Call 1-866-HARRAHS.
