SAMMY HAGAR, DAVID COVERDALE To Be Honored At 'Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards'

Legendary rocker Sammy Hagar (VAN HALEN, CHICKENFOOT) will receive "The Voice Of Rock" award at Vegas Rocks! Magazine's third annual Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards! Also scheduled to be honored is WHITESNAKE/ex-DEEP PURPLE singer David Coverdale. The event will celebrate Vegas Rocks! Magazine's eight-year anniversary and will be held on Sunday, August 26 at the Joint inside the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Vegas Rocks! Magazine Awards will be hosted by the "publishing queen of rock and roll" Sally Steele, Vegas Rocks! Magazine founder/CEO and will be preceded by a "grand rock and roll royal red-carpet media event" with appearances by some of the most famous rock artists in the music industry. Many national media outlets will be at the event’s rock and roll royal red carpet this year and the event will be filmed live for VegasRocksTV.com. The event will focus on the local Las Vegas rock scene as well as rock legends of the past and present to receive and present awards.
