Former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell and VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony were on hand as SAMMY HAGAR AND THE WABORITAS premiered their new DVD, "The Long Road To Cabo", and performed live for a radio broadcast on KLOS 95.5 on Wednesday (September 17) at The Grove Theatre in Anaheim, California. "The Long Road To Cabo" is due on September 23 through Sanctuary Visual Entertainment. Over three hundred hours of material was shot and edited to create the final product, which is being described on Hagar's web site as "a combination of live concert performances and a behind-the-scenes look as to what really goes on after the curtain comes down and the audience goes home." In addition to the regular DVD, a bonus disc with over four hours of additional material is featured. Included are Sammy's solo music videos, audio commentary from Sammy, his bandmates (THE WABORITAS), as well as Gil Bettman, Sammy's video director, discussing behind-the-scene anecdotes.
