SAMMY HAGAR And KRIST NOVOSELIC To Speak At SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST

Sammy Hagar (pictured) and Krist Novoselic have been announced as two of the speakers at this year's South By Southwest (SXSW) festival, which will be held March 10-19 in Austin, Texas

The former VAN HALEN frontman will participate in a conversation on Thursday, March 16, at 2 p.m. local time, while the NIRVANA bassist will be featured in a similar event on March 14 at 3:30 p.m.

Hagar will discuss his music career as well as his successes as a businessman and dedicated philanthropist.

Novoselic is now a member of the board of FairVote, the non-profit organization seeking to make democracy fair. He was previously SXSW's keynote speaker in 1996.
