SAINT CAINE Frontman Comments On Ex-BLOODSIMPLE Drummer's Addition

June 16, 2006

SAINT CAINE guitarist/vocalist John Kosco (ex-DROPBOX) has commented on the addition of ex- ex-BLOODSIMPLE/DOWNSET drummer Chris Hamilton to the group's ranks. The group — whose lineup is completed by guitarist Joey Wilkinson (ex-DROPBOX) and bassist John Eville — are currently working on their debut album, to be released in late 2006/early 2007.

Said Kosco: "We jammed with quite a few drummers. As incredible as they were to jam with, they had bands of their own. It was like a tease to play with these killer drummers. Matt Byrne from HATEBREED came down and cranked on a few tunes. Derek Kerswill from SEEMLESS dropped some bombs with us, then I got few phone calls about Chris Hamilton. Shannon Larkin from GODSMACK calls me and says, 'Duuude, ya gotta call my boy Chris.' The same week I get a buzz from SOIL's Shaun Glass saying the same thing. So my bros are looking out for us. I didn't take long to decide to grab Chris as our drummer. He fuckin laid down the shit the other day."
