Indie Recordings has announced the signing of SAHG, the Norwegian heavy rockers who feature in their ranks current/former members of GORGOROTH, MANNGARD and AUDREY HORNE. The band is currently working on its third album, tentatively due in October. Live appearances are confirmed at several festivals in the spring and summer.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Olav Iversen: "The best thing about Indie is that they are passionate about what they do. They really care more about the music than the money, unlike most others in this business. That was crucial for our decision. Indie has been in close relation to SAHG and given very valuable support since day one. So signing with Indie Recordings seems like the most natural thing in the universe. Indie made a very good effort handling distribution and promotion for both our previous albums in Norway. And they have always been very supportive towards where we have been going musically. Being based in the same country, we have at times had a closer connection to Indie than to our previous label, Sweden-based Regain Records. We want to work with a record company that is genuinely interested in what we do, and we believe that Indie Recordings is such a record company. We believe this is the right place for SAHG to develop further and keep on expressing what we want musically."
SAHG recently announced the addition of drummer Thomas Lønnheim to the group's ranks.

SAHG's sophomore album, "Sahg II", was released on March 18, 2008 via Regain Records.
While the band's 2006 debut, "Sahg I", established the band as a force to be reckoned with in doom metal, "Sahg II" proves the band's staying power. Taking inspiration from the forefathers of all things heavy — BLACK SABBATH — SAHG creates its own interpretation of retro, trippy, heavy music, based around memorable, ear-catching riffs.
The "Pyromancer" video, which was shot on January 26-27, 2008 with director Asle Birkeland (who has previously created clips for ENSLAVED and AUDREY HORNE), can be viewed below. According to the band, "the script is loaded with prophetic mystique and blazing sorcery, and [is] a vivid visualisation of the song's theme on supernatural spiritual powers."
