SACRIFICE: New Official Web Site Launched

July 11, 2005

A brand-new official web site for the long-defunct Canadian thrashers SACRIFICE has been launched by Brazil's Marquee Records, who are in the process of reissuing the group's back catalog. Check out the site at www.sacrifice.com.br. The band's freshly re-released debut album, "Torment in Fire", comes as a double CD in a limited-edition hand-numbered slipcase and contains a massive booklet with liner notes by Laurent Ramadier, live pictures and personal comments by Joe Rico (guitar) and Rob Urbinati (guitar, vocals). The reissue features 42 songs in total, including one from SACRIFICE's first gig in 1984 — all remastered from the originals by Sidney Sohn (NASTY SAVAGE, IRON ANGEL). The complete track listing can be found at this location.
