ROYAL ANGUISH Sign With Holland's FEAR DARK RECORDS

June 7, 2005

Florida-based extreme metal act ROYAL ANGUISH have inked a deal with Holland's Fear Dark. The group's first release for the label will be a limited-edition version of ROYAL ANGUISH's most recent EP, entitled "Tales of Sullen Eyes", tentatively due late summer. The EP was recorded at Mana Studios in Tampa, Florida (HATE ETERNAL, INTO THE MOAT, MALEVOLENT CREATION) and was engineered by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL). ROYAL ANGUISH will also be recording a brand new full-length CD (currently untitled) during the fall of 2005. The scheduled release is for the first quarter of 2006.

Commented vocalist/rhythm guitarist Matt Knowles: "We are very pleased to be signed with Fear Dark. They are an up and coming label with some great acts. We look forward to helping strengthen their already solid lineup."

Added Roy, co-owner of Fear Dark: "We are proud to welcome ROYAL ANGUISH to our label. We noticed the band several years ago and feel that the right moment has come for us to make a deal with them. ROYAL ANGUISH has become a very talented band mixing extreme metal with a bit of gothic metal influence. By signing them we also will get a stronger influence on the USA market."
