This year's Rocklahoma will be held July 10-13, 2008 at the Catch The Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor, Oklahoma. WARRANT, TRIUMPH and EXTREME are among the bands reuniting with all or most of their original lineups for the festival, which will also feature sets from NIGHT RANGER, CINDERELLA, Bret Michaels, TESLA, ARMORED SAINT, L.A. GUNS and many more. More than 85 bands in all will perform on three giant stages throughout the four days with several more big names to be added in the coming weeks.

Bret Michaels recently talked to The Pulse of Radio about his experience at the 2007 Rocklahoma festival. "Rocklahoma's an awesome event, and we had such an amazing time last year," he said. "Great summer party, and here's what was killer about it: every fan came from all over the United States, Canada, the world, basically...And to look out there at thousands and thousands of fans having an awesome time and a party...That's what this event is about. It's about the celebration of music."

Regarding playing with his solo band as opposed to POISON at the 2008 Rocklahoma festival, Michaels told The Pulse of Radio, "My solo show is a big, pyro-energized 'Storytellers'. In between the songs I get to tell the fans what I was thinkin', why I wrote it... But we keep the energy up, big explosions, big excitement. And it's going to play out there so that people feel like they're in a living room with 40,000 people in it."
