Rockin' In The AC/DC Lane

Australia's The Age reports that ACDC Lane (photo) — the Melbourne road named in honor of the Australian hard rock legends — will open up to the city's newest festival this weekend, Cherry Rock '07, which features 18 cracking Melbourne bands.

The line-up includes ROCKET SCIENCE, EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING, BLOOD DUSTER, MY DISCO, SHOOTING AT UNARMED MEN, THE DEVIL ROCK FOUR, THE FIVE VENOMS, THE BREADMAKERS, THE PINK FITS, DYNAMO, DOUBLE AGENTS and DIGGER & THE PUSSYCATS on three stages in the Cherry Bar, the Alley Bar and ACDC Lane.

A CD featuring some of the songs will be on sale.
