'Rock Science': The Trivia Board Game For Rockers

Rock Science is a new board game that will be released on December 9. The game was created by a group of rockers including Nicke Andersson (a.k.a. Nick Royale; ENTOMBED, THE HELLACOPTERS, IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC), and is all about hard rock knowledge. The goal was to turn rockers' beer-fueled music arguments into a game that delivers unique and consistent entertainment. With 2,500 questions covering hundreds of influential rock bands from the 1960s up until today, this goal has been reached and rockers can today order the game at www.rockscience.tv.

Rockers all over the world often bump heads over who did what on which record, how a certain song came about or what rock star died in the most spectacular way well, over anything that makes hard rock more spectacular than any other music. Few people love their music as much as rockers do, and now they get a chance to test their love and knowledge in this fast-paced game. For all true rockers, Rock Science will be just as essential as the record collection, the electric guitar, the leather jacket or the bass guitar.

Rock Science covers classic rock, heavy metal, NWOBHM, thrash metal, glam, grunge and extreme metal with questions on bands such as KISS, BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, AC/DC, IRON MAIDEN, MOTRHEAD, GUNS N' ROSES, VENOM, PEARL JAM, SEX PISTOLS and THE ROLLING STONES.

Not many board games have their own signature tune. Rock Science is quite possibly the only board game in the world with its own, dedicated anthem. One thing's for sure: Nicke Andersson has never written a song for a game before. Andersson is also the art director in the six-man-strong team at the Rock Science lab. the creative director is Jorge Bravo, the man behind the bands SKINTRADE and ROACHPOWDER.
