ROB ZOMBIE To Publish Collection Of Short Stories

August 31, 2003

ROB ZOMBIE will publish a book titled "Rob Zombie Presents: Monsters, Maniacs and Madmen" in summer 2004 through HarperEntertainment, a division of HarperCollins Publishers. Described as "a collection of creepy and edgy short stories from the authors who inspire him, such as Poe, Dickens, Stoker and more", the book will include an introduction by Zombie and new original artwork to accompany each story.

Zombie recently announced plans to collaborate with one of the biggest names in horror comic books, Steve Niles, on a new horror series titled "The Nail". "The Nail" will be co-written by Niles and Zombie and will feature art by Ben Templesmith. The series, which will premier in early 2004, will be published by Dark Horse Comics, Inc., one of the largest comic book publishers in the United States. Click here to see the cover. Zombie is currently working on the sequel to his directorial debut, "House of 1000 Corpses", tentatively due next spring.
