ROB ZOMBIE: New Audio Interview Posted Online

July 21, 2005

ROB ZOMBIE spoke to Jim Bone of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA's WBSX-97.9X on Tuesday (July 19) about his second feature film, "The Devil's Rejects", and his second-stage slot on the Ozzfest 2005 tour, which kicked off last week in Mansfield, MA. The seven-minute interview can be downloaded as an MP3 file from this location.

Zombie's touring band this summer features former MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5, longtime bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson and ex-ALICE COOPER drummer Tommy Clufetos.

The Ozzfest 2005 lineup also includes BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, MUDVAYNE and, on the last eight dates, VELVET REVOLVER.

Zombie isn't supporting a new album this summer, but he is promoting his second effort as a screenwriter and director. His highly anticipated horror movie, "The Devil's Rejects", arrives in theatres on July 22.

ROB ZOMBIE's first-ever career retrospective, "Past, Present & Future", has sold 690,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The two-disc set, which was released in September 2003 through Geffen Records, contains a CD of 19 digitally remastered selections — including two new recordings — and a DVD of 10 music videos, including three previously unreleased.
