ROB ZOMBIE Drummer Talks About Upcoming Clinic Tour

November 6, 2006

ROB ZOMBIE/ex-ALICE COOPER drummer Tommy Clufetos recently spoke to The Daily Advertiser about his upcoming clinic tour, sponsored by Sonor Drums.

Clufetos, whose percussive skills are due to be featured on Zombie's forthcoming live CD and a new album, will talk about the joys of playing Sonor drums and the product’s durability and versatility. However, there is a greater purpose to the tour, he said.

"I'm going to focus on what it takes to be a professional musician, how to stay away from drugs, alcohol and all the negative things that detract from giving 110 percent every time you step on stage," Clufetos said. "Attitude is everything. If there is something that takes away from my focus, my awareness on stage, I won't do it."

Upcoming Tommy Clufetos clinic dates:

Nov. 07 - Scott's Drum Center - Lafayette, Louisiana (337-984-3786)
Nov. 08 - PASIC Convention - Austin, Texas (autograph signing)
Nov. 09 - Jeff Ryder's Drum Shop - Austin, Texas (512-371-1550)
Nov. 14 - Chesboro Music - Idaho Falls, Idaho (208-522-8691)
Nov. 15 - Avalon Music - Wenatchee, Washington (509-663-7300)
Nov. 16 - Mammoth Music - Anchorage, Alaska (907-344-6155)
