REVEREND KILL Signs With PAINKILLER RECORDS

August 18, 2009

Canadian death metallers REVEREND KILL have inked a deal with Painkiller Records (a sub-label of Apollon Entertainment UN Limited) for the release of their latest album, "His Blood Our Kill". Recorded and engineered by Joe Sikorski, the CD contains "nine tracks of groovin' Western Canadian-style death metal" and is due on September 28. The album's artwork was created by Sylvain Le Bourhis.

Formed in 2004 by guitarist Don Stenhouse (ex-THORAZINE, DEIMOS, PERICARDIUM),REVEREND KILL went though several incarnations until it arrived at its current lineup, which includes Stenhouse and Teran Wyer on guitars, Vinnie Cardellini on drums, Kyle Farrell (ex-INJUST) on bass, and Graham Harris (ex-GENEPOOL, ROTSCHRECK) on vocals.

Commented Stenhouse: "Things clicked right away once Graham became involved. He immediately started taking our material and adding his own personal touch to it, and the rest of the band very much liked what he was coming up with. So much so, in fact, that we basically went back to the drawing board with 'His Blood Our Victory', restructuring all the songs around the new vocal sound."
