RESURRECTED Covers FEAR FACTORY, MASSACRE On New EP

May 2, 2012

Long-running German death metallers RESURRECTED have set "Morbus" as the title of their upcoming five-track EP. The effort, which will be mixed at the end of May by Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studios in Rhauderfehn, Germany, will contain two new songs ("Covered With Maggots" and "Bewareness Of Truth") alongside a re-recording of "Butchered In Excrement" and cover versions of FEAR FACTORY's "Self Bias Resistor" and MASSACRE's "Dawn Of Eternity".

Vocalist Carsten Scholz recently left RESURRECTED for health reasons and was replaced by Christoph Mieves (GRIND INC.). In addition, drummer Hazim Fouad exited the group due his move to Bremen. Going forward, RESURRECTED's drum duties are being handled by Dennis Thiele, who is described by the band as "a good friend and dedicated death metal maniac."

RESURRECTED 2012 is:

Christoph Mieves - Vocals
Dennis Thiele - Drums
Ben Bays - Bass
Thomas Granzow - Guitar

RESURRECTED released its sixth album, "Fierce", in 2009 via Metal Age Productions. The CD was recorded at Soundlodge studios in Rhauderfehn, Germany with Jörk Uken (GOD DETHRONED, OBSCENITY).
