RESISTANCE To Hold Free CD Listening Party Tomorrow

Los Angeles metallers RESISTANCE will hold a free listening party for their new album, "Patents of Control", tomorrow (Saturday, October 20) at the Plush Lounge of the Key Club in Hollywood. According to the band, "the party starts at 9:00 p.m. and the CD will debut at 11:00 p.m. DJ Will from KNAC.COM will be the DJ all night as well as hosting the event. We will also have promo copies of the CD for those that request a copy for review or air play. We will be giving away t-shirts and copies of the new CD as well."

"Patents of Control" was released in Europe today (October 19) through Lion Music. The CD is a concept album which was recorded at Desert Moon studios in Anaheim, California with engineer Patrick Miller. The mix was handled by renowned producer Neil Kernon (QUEENSRŸCHE, NEVERMORE, NILE) at Rax Trax Studio in Chicago Illinois. The CD was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music in New Jersey.

The track "Paternal Shift" features a guest solo from Jim Durkin (DARK ANGEL) and a guest vocal performance from Loana D.P. Valencia (DREAMS OF DAMNATION) as the voice of The Group Order Device (G.O.D.).
