REPULSION Part Ways With Guitarist, Announce Replacement

October 15, 2004

Guitarist Aaron Freeman has left death metal/grindcore pioneers REPULSION "due to other commitments," according to a posting on the group's web site. "Unfortunately this is a permanent decision. He will be sorely missed.

"Taking over guitar duties will be EXHUMED's Matt Harvey. We are very excited to have him aboard, thanks Matt!!!"

In other news, REPULSION drummer Dave "Grave" Hollingshead is unable to attend the band's upcoming French and Spanish gigs. His temporary replacement will be Col Jones (CRETIN, EXHUMED).

"There isn't a man alive more qualified to fill the granddaddy of blast beat's slippers more than Mr. Col Jones," REPULSION write on their web site. "Thanks for helping us out, Col."

Upcoming REPULSION shows:

Oct. 30 – Seichamps, FRA @ Tattoo the Mind
Jan. 7-8 – Madrid, SPA @ Trauma Fest 2005
