Report: Security Snafus Plague LINKIN PARK's PROJEKT REVOLUTION Tour

Heather Whitney of The Flint Journal is reporting that when the Projekt Revolution tour arrived at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan Monday night (July 26),concertgoers were barred from entrance until after the first band was supposed to go on stage, with no explanation or assistance from the theater employees. In addition, some security chose to heckle the increasingly impatient crowd while they waited at the gates, leaving many of the mostly 30-and-under group spitting mad as they were finally allowed to filter in.

The situation inside did not prove to be any better, however, since the patrons were not allowed to find their seats in the pavilion or to pick a spot on the lawn to sit down.

Forced to mill around in a large and cramped mass in between the concession stands until allowed to find their seats an hour later, tensions were running high. DTE security guards failed miserably there as well, rudely grabbing concertgoers they thought had violated venue rules.

The Projekt Revolution tour itself seems to be having a problems of its own. DOWNSET, the first band of the day, opened the second stage only a few minutes late, but the rest of the festival deviated more and more from its announced schedule.
