REIGN OF TERROR To Issue 'Conquer And Divide' In October

September 4, 2002

REIGN OF TERROR, featuring guitar hero Joe Stump, ex-LOUDNESS/YNGWIE MALMSTEEN frontman Michael Vescera, and ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN keyboardist Mats Olausson, will issue their new album, entitled Conquer And Divide, on October 23rd in Japan through Avalon Marquee Records. A mid-to-late November release in the rest of the world is expected. According to Stump's official web site, "the new album is much heavier and considerably more aggressive than [the previous CD] Sacred Ground and will contain an insane amount of intense guitar."

In other news, Stump will shortly be releasing two instructional DVDs. The first one will be through Berklee Press in October and is being described as "a chop-building, technique-developing instructional DVD including basic metronome usage, right-hand development, some gratuitous shred footage, as well as some play-along tracks." The second DVD, meanwhile, will be released exclusively through Joe Stump.com and will be "an extensive sweep-picking instructional DVD covering 2, 3, 4, and 5 string arpeggio play and also includes excerpts of some of Joe's favorite arpeggio examples from his various recordings."

Also on the Stump front, Joe will release a new 2002 Guitar Masters disc and a live record before the end of the year. A series of guitar clinics is also expected to take place in the fall.
