REGAIN RECORDS Signs North American Distribution Deal With KOCH ENTERTAINMENT

March 29, 2007

KOCH Entertainment Distribution has announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Regain Records and Entertainment, LLC. Under this deal, KOCH will be the exclusive distributor for this leading metal label in North America.

Based in the Malmö, Sweden, Regain Records started in 1997 from the ashes of former label Wrong Again Records (IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS and NAGLFAR). Regain Records was launched in 1997 with two releases, DERANGED "High on Blood" and EMBRACED "Amorous Anathema". The first two years were quite hard for the label, as it was lacking proper distribution. Things started moving forward for the label with the re-release of the first two IN FLAMES albums "Lunar Strain" and "Subterranean".

In the last couple of years Regain Records evolved to a very dynamic label in Europe with names like DANZIG, SAMAEL, MARDUK, DARK FUNERAL, BEHEMOTH and OVERKILL, among others, as well as a back catalog consisting of strong names like IN FLAMES and ARCH ENEMY. Regain Records goal is to grow and establish its name more while always supporting the scene and trying hard to release quality instead of quantity. Key current artists include GORGOROTH, VADER, DARK FUNERAL, LORD BELIAL, BEHEMOTH, MARDUK, IN FLAMES and ARCH ENEMY.

Forthcoming key releases via KOCH include ARCH ENEMY's debut release "Black Earth", which has never before been officially released in North America, MARDUK "ROM 5:12", GORGOROTH "True Norwegian Black Metal", DARK FUNERAL - new studio [to be announced], and BEHEMOTH - new studio and new double DVD TBD.

"For ten years Regain Records have been licensing our catalog rights to various labels for the North American territory, so we are very happy to finally have an office in the states and to be part of the KOCH roster of labels. We feel that we have some of the premiere metal acts of their genre and look forward to marketing them under the Regain name," comments Dennis Clapp, Managing Director of Regain Records and Entertainment, LLC.

Michael Rosenberg, President of KOCH Entertainment Distribution adds, "We're very pleased to welcome Regain Records to our family of distributed labels. Regain's roster of high-profile metal artists and catalog strengthens our presence in this genre."

KOCH Entertainment is the leading and fastest-growing independent music and video company in the U.S. and its operations encompass record and video labels as well as physical and digital distribution companies in the U.S. and Canada. KOCH Entertainment is the market leader among independents in both the U.S. and Canada and its record labels had the largest number of Billboard-charting albums among independents in 2005/2006.
