RED FANG: 'Wires' Video Released

May 12, 2011

"Wires", the new video from RED FANG, can be viewed at MonsterEnergy.com. The clip, which features car crashes, house explosions, a cameo from heavy metal comedian Brian Posehn and milk, lots of milk, was directed by Whitey McConnaughy (THE GOSSIP, MUDHONEY, FLOGGING MOLLY) in Portland, Oregon.

RED FANG previously worked with McConnaughy on the band's much-talked-about "Prehistoric Dog" video.

RED FANG's John Sherman commented: "Working with Whitey again was great, because we knew the end result would be amazing he doesn't half-ass. But it was also a little scary, because Whitey would do whatever it took to get the ultimate shot, even if it meant killing us."

"Wires" comes off RED FANG's latest album, "Murder The Mountains", which was recorded with THE DECEMBERISTS' Chris Funk and was mixed by three-time Grammy Award winner Vance Powell (THE WHITE STRIPES, THE RACONTEURS).

"Murder The Mountains" is now available on CD, 12-inch vinyl, and deluxe digital.

RED FANG will perform at the Rock On The Range festival in Columbus, Ohio later this month before heading out on another month-long U.S. tour in July as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
