Set for an early June release via Hold True Recordings, "The True Speed of Steel" (originally slated to be called "Dawn of the Shred") was recorded at Mad Oak Studios in Allston, Massachusetts with engineer Devin Charette. The album was mastered by Nick Zampiello (CONVERGE, TORCHE, TRAP THEM, XASTHUR) at New Alliance Studios in Cambridge.
