RAUNCHY Split With NUCLEAR BLAST, Seek New Label Home

January 26, 2005

Denmark's RAUNCHY have officially split with Nuclear Blast Records after releasing two albums through the label (2002's "Velvet Noise" and 2004's "Confusion Bay"). "We would like to thank Nuclear Blast Records for their work regarding our two albums," the band said in a statement. "No further comments will be available.

"We are now looking forward to be working with another record company, who believes in RAUNCHY and who has the right capacity, understanding, and musical dedication to take care of our music. If everything falls into place within the coming months, our third 'baby' will see the light of day before Christmas or early spring next year."

In other news, RAUNCHY were forced to cancel their previously announced show at Rock Café in Tallinn, Estonia due to circumstances "beyond our control," according to the band. "We're deeply sorry that we can't play for our Estonian fans," the band write in a statement.
