RATT Guitarist Performs With CAMP FREDDY IN Las Vegas

December 6, 2005

RATT guitarist Warren DiMartini joined CAMP FREDDY onstage at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (Dec. 4) for a rendition of RATT's "Round and Round", with Mark McGrath (SUGAR RAY) handling lead vocals. Commented CAMP FREDDY guitarist Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION): "Warren and I actually figured out the harmony solo parts and it was pretty rad." As for the rest of the show, Navarro said, "Scott Weiland [VELVET REVOLVER] did 'Crackerman' and 'Roadhouse Blues', Duff [McKagan, VELVET REVOLVER] did 'New Rose', Ty Taylor did 'Whole Lotta Love' and even Sweet Suzie McNiel came up and did 'Feel Like Makin' Love'. It was great to see those two again and they killed it. Steve Jones [SEX PISTOLS] on 'Pretty Vacant' is always amazing... A SEX PISTOLS song with a Sex Pistol is a pretty undeniable experience. Jerry [Cantrell, ALICE IN CHAINS] sang ALICE COOPER's '18' and played on 'Cat Scratch' and 'Man in the Box'. Duffy [Billy, THE CULT] played on 'Makin' Love' and 'Ziggy'. Of course, as with all CAMP FREDDY shows, everyone came out for 'Dog', including Carmen [Electra, Navarro's wife] who gyrated onstage alongside Johnny Fava. Earlier in the set, Johnny did a hilarious version of 'Paranoid'. If you have ever seen him, you know what I mean."

CAMP FREDDY is the Los Angeles-based "jam" band consisting of Navarro, former THE CULT touring bassist Billy Morrison (on guitar),VELVET REVOLVER/ex-GUNS N' ROSES drummer Matt Sorum, and vocalist Donovan Leitch (the son of 1960s U.K. folk-rock icon Donovan).
